Sail in the wind
Durable material. Zippers are easy to use. Unfortunately acts as a sail in the wind and caused my rack to fall sideways if the rack is not full of wood. I wish the low profile one was available instead.

Shelter Logic firewood cover

Very good product. One suggestion
The rack over (8' long) is great. Keeps firewood dry throughout the year. The only problem we had relates to the support for the rack cover. We used the Firewood Rack Bracket kit, with 4 vertical posts, one at each corner, supporting the cover. That is all the support the cover has. If the rack is not full of wood and it rains a lot, the rain catches in the top and its weight makes the over sag in the middle causing tearing. We inserted cross supports so the cover would be supported along the sides with cross pieces in the middle, which solves the problem. But the cover is exactly what we needed and it works well. We had it for a few years, and replacing it was not a problem at $25..

Very Please So Far
Am excited to have a full cover for firewood. Last cover just sat on top 1/4 of wood, often blew off and as time went by, the Velcro strips stopped working. Like the zippers that allow getting wood without removing the cover. Time will tell how it stands up to weather.

Best cover, but with a couple of issues
I have used Shelter Logic log rack covers for three years now and am very pleased, but there are two things that a person should know about them. First, the wind will take them off and blow them away I use this fix: (Maybe the company will read this and start doing it for us.) I put a grommet in each end of the cover, at the bottom and in the middle of the end. I use a cable tie or zip tie to connect the cover to the bottom end brace of the log rack. Works great. Just snip them off when you want to remove the cover. The second thing about them is that they cannot take the summer sun. Get them off in the Spring or when the snow stops. The UV rays will rot them in one season.

Is the material flame retardant?

Thank you for your question. The Firewood Rack Full Length Cover, 4 ft. (90477) is Not Fire retardant. However, it does have Anti-fungal properties that help reduce mold and mildew.

Outside dimension of my 4" firewood rack is 51". (I believe I bought it from Shelterlogic but not positive.). Will a 4' cover fit over this rack? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I have an 8 foot length tubluar wood rack. When we initailly bought it, it had a cover that sounds similiar to yours. The original cover had 2 zippers and went over the entire rack. Youe cover says it is only 42" in height. Our rack is 5.5 ft

why do spec say 14.2 width/depth, but Q&A says 20 inches deep...please confirm dimensions

Sorry for the confusion. The package width and depth measure 14.25" but the assembled product itself measures 20"D x 98.4"W x 42"H.

Does this cover have zippers on both sides? So if you had it on a deck, loaded it from one side then used as needed from the other side?

Is the tarp material under each zipper supposed to be cut or whole? I ordered one from target where one side was cut and one side was not. I ordered a replacement and both sides are cut in this one. The cuts don't look professional.
